I'm Kimiko Motoki.

While doing my Japanese calligraphy I'm taking care of my two kids.

Japanese calligraphy  is one of our Japanese art.

It expresses the beauty of the words it self.

By using the writing brush,an ink and a piece of Japanese paper creates beautiful  Japanese words.

The smell of the ink,the time and space,having a good straight posture,concentration and a clear thought of mind. Makes an ideograph sensivity abundant.

The written sign represents the feeling and idea of the sculptor. It tells the beauty of the leter rather than the sound of the word.

For me, I want to introduce the beauty of Japanese calligraphy in different people in different countries around the world.
